Community Bible Church is a multi-ethnic congregation of believers that is embracing its city. The church believes in mission work, but its primary mission field is home -- Memphis, Tennessee. CBC moved into the heart of Memphis in June 2006 and now resides in what was once Speedway Terrace Baptist Church. The “new” building at 601 North Bellevue was a gift to CBC, and Pastor Jim Rowland sees that gift as an affirmative answer to all that God has called this church to do in and for Memphis. Our purpose statement is “to reach, to win, to train, to send,” and our goal is to do just that from the inside out -- from the heart of the city with a vision for the world!
